Town Energy Committee

John S. Weedon Says:

I am head of a nascent energy committee for the town of Manchester in CT. The town received an energy efficiency grant as part of the stimulus dollars from Washington. I am working on persuading the committee and town politicians and staff to expand its mission to include a GHG emission inventory, additional energy efficiency measures, higher percentage of clean energy, and energy conservation. Has anyone been in a similar situation? I am looking for someone has already traveled this road. Thanks! As to why someone from Manchester, CT would be in this forum, I am from Cleveland and will be return home after my children graduate from high school.
