Twenty marketing education students at Beachwood, Mayfield and Richmond Heights high schools are hosting this "Green Dream” showcase to feature green ideas in art, music, home makeovers, a light bulb exchange, organic food and exhibitor displays ranging from geothermal technology to environmentally friendly weddings. Cleveland Metroparks is hosting the fifth annual North Coast Nature Festival Friday through Sunday, April 25 - 27, 2008 at Rocky River Nature Center in Rocky River Reservation in North Olmsted. Friday night will feature two presentations by nationally-acclaimed nature photographer Rod Planck, and Saturday and Sunday will feature a variety of other nature talks, nature programs conducted by Cleveland Metroparks staff, and demonstrations and exhibits by local nature organizations, artists and vendors from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., both days. Cleveland Metroparks North Coast Nature Festival celebrates the earth’s reawakening. The month of April is a glorious time for bird watching and discovering the spectacular beauty of spring flowers and wildlife that make Northeast Ohio their home. | ||
