Spring has returned to Northeast Ohio, and with it flocks of migratory birds. As numerous species of birds return to the area, Cleveland Metroparks Zoo will celebrate their arrival with International Migratory Bird Day.

Go beak-to-cheek with some of the Zoo’s birds during Get-Close programs, learn about the migration journey at the Migration Station, make bird feeders out of recycled plastic bottles and take them home to hang in your backyard or try to eat like a bird with a game of Be the Beak.

This year’s theme is Habitats: From Tundra to the Tropics. The goal is to raise awareness about bird conservation issues and how people might create or sustain environments that support birds.
