The U.S. Green Building Council–St. Louis Regional Chapter will host this fifth annual conference on green building and sustainability, which is geared toward greening towns, businesses, college campuses and buildings in the Midwest. Attendees will be exposed to the latest in green building techniques and discuss how the public and private sectors can work together to promote sustainable design and construction strategies.

Ohio 21st Century Transportation Priorities Task Force was convened by Gov. Strickland to address promoting a multi-modal system, maximizing public investment, and generating economic development. Share your thoughts about how to promote bikes as transportation, more walkable communities and new public transit service.

The first hour includes presentation by local transportation partners, then an "open house" style format, when the public can share opinions and gather information in a less formal setting followed by a more formal public comment period at 6:30 p.m.

Several leading experts in the field present their views and engage you in a panel discussion about the challenges facing the wind energy industry and the opportunities that these challenges offer to Northeast Ohios instrumentation, controls and electronics firms. Panelists include Richard Stuebi, BP Fellow for Energy and Environmental Advancement, The Cleveland Foundation, Dr. Larry Viterna, Lead, Center Strategy and New Business Development, NASA Glenn Research Center and Ed Weston, Director, Great Lakes Wind Network.
