Transportation systems represent a significant share of our region’s carbon footprint and require significant investments to build and maintain.

We will be holding 2 or 3 meetings in the coming months, with smaller work groups in between the large meetings.   We have invited a diverse group of representatives including county engineers, county planners, port authorities, transit agencies, MPOs, ODOT, and other public and private sector representatives.

By participating in the work groups, you will have the opportunity to shape the discussion on greenhouse gas challenges for Northeast Ohio and respond to proposed solutions.

The first Transportation Work Group will be on Wednesday August 27, 2008 from 1:30p until 4pm at NOACA Headquarters in Downtown Cleveland.  Please RSVP in advance.

If interested in attending or participating in this or future work groups, please contact Brad Chase, 216.321.4600, x3365.
