Peter Bane, one of the world's leading advocates for permaculture and local food systems, will speak on how permaculture can help build healthier local economies and the people they serve. A longtime permaculture practitioner, teacher, and editor of Permaculture Activist, Peter served on a Peak Oil taskforce that recently produced a report commissioned by his hometown of Bloomington, Ind.,on how to dramatically multiply the number local food producers and processor in that city.
