Cleveland Design Competition Awards Reception and Exhibition Opening
For the third straight year, the Competition invites designers from all over the world to propose designs for an underused area in Cleveland. The competition site and program for this year was a new Multi-Modal Transit Center to be located north of Mall C in downtown Cleveland. Over 80 submissions from more than 25 different countries have been received. The winners will be selected by a distinguished jury at the reception. An article regarding the Competition recently appeared in the Plain Dealer.

This site is inspired by the memory of Richard Shatten, a former board member of EcoCity Cleveland,
who pushed Northeast Ohio to think strategically about regionalism and sustainability.
