The demands of equity and justice cannot be confined to a single neighborhood. The very reasons why so many disadvantaged people reside in the central city are regional—suburban sprawl across a welter of political jurisdictions, exclusionary zoning, the near total absence of meaningful regional planning and so forth. Ways must be found to discuss and address these issues on a regional basis for the sake of the city, of the region, of us all.

Discover one of Northeast Ohio's best kept secrets: fine furniture. On July 14th and 15th, the District of Design is hosting the first Cleveland Furniture and Millwork Fair. The fair is bringing together the best in hardwood, artisan and manufactured furniture-all made right here in Northeast Ohio.
More than 30 exhibitors will showcase designs direct from the workshops of Holmes County's Amish community as well as the artist studios of Cleveland's St. Clair Superior neighborhood.
Interior designers and architects can attend seminars on design and color trends in the furniture industry. Local business and institutional buyers can learn how purchasing local furniture and millwork can help them meet sustainability goals.
The hours from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. are reserved for wholesalers. More event details coming soon!
