In today’s economy, we compete with the entire world for good jobs and good people. As a result, Cleveland and Northeast Ohio can no longer afford to rely solely on the many strengths that shaped this community and allowed it to thrive throughout much of the past century. Nor can we allow our rhetoric, indecisiveness or narrow interests to continue to impede efforts to restore our region’s competitiveness and economic vitality.
The evening features a candle-lit concert with Daniel McKelway and Lembi Veskimets and friends from the world-famous Cleveland Orchestra performing Schubert’s Octet. A gourmet reception and silent auction will precede the concert. Proceeds benefit the year round environmental education and leadership programs of Earth Day Coalition.
