The world is rightly focused on climate change. But if we don't have a strategy for reducing global carbon emissions and preserving biodiversity, we could end up in a very bad place, like in a crazy rush into corn ethanol, and palm oil for biodiesel, without enough regard for their impact on the natural world.
Celebrating 25 Years in the Community: Enterprise Community Partners, a national funder of neighborhood revitalization, will hold its annual conference November 14 – 16 in Cleveland. Each year the Enterprise Conference brings together hundreds of community development practitioners to network with peers, attend workshops and catch up on the latest industry trends.
This site is inspired by the memory of Richard Shatten, a former board member of EcoCity Cleveland,
who pushed Northeast Ohio to think strategically about regionalism and sustainability.
