Real estate developers, community development professionals, local government officials and artists will discuss strategies for turning Midwest cities "from rust belt to artist belt" at a day-long conference.

Speakers include Jeremy Nowak of The Reinvestment Fund and Ann Markusen from the Project on Regional and Industrial Economics as well as representatives from communities that have been successful in attracting artists as part of their revitalization strategy.
