ODOT needs to embrace a multi-modal, economically driven project selection process that serves all of Ohio. This process needs to realize that land-use patterns are a direct result of the transportation system serving them. Planning and decision making should be weighted toward containing urban sprawl.

Get Up, Get Out &Go! (GGG) offers free outdoor recreational activities for kids ages 11 to 14 and their families in Cuyahoga Valley National Park and Akron-area metro parks. Arrive at Cascade Village Community Center, Lawton or Joy Park Recreation Centers 1 hour prior to program for FREE transportaion.

Ride on the Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad through the national park as a part of the 2009 series kickoff.

Kids attending three GGG programs earn a CVNP Junior Ranger badge. Attend eight to be eligible for a weekend campout. Registration for events is encouraged. Call (330) 657-2752 ext 351 or visit www.cvnpa.org for more information.
