Akron, OH Get Up, Get Out &Go! (GGG) offers free outdoor recreational activities for kids ages 11 to 14 and their families in Cuyahoga Valley National Park and Akron-area metro parks. Arrive at Cascade Village Community Center, Lawton or Joy Park Recreation Centers 1 hour prior to program for FREE transportaion.
Take a train ride through the Cuyahoga Valley National Park. The train will leave from Akron Northside Station and go to Indigo lake for evening activities surrounding water quality and cultural history in
CVNP.
Kids attending three GGG programs earn a CVNP Junior Ranger badge. Attend eight to be eligible for a weekend campout. Registration for events is encouraged. Call (330) 657-2752 ext 351 or visit www.cvnpa.org for more information.
