Get Up, Get Out &Go! (GGG) offers free outdoor recreational activities for kids ages 11 to 14 and their families in Cuyahoga Valley National Park and Akron-area metro parks. Arrive at Cascade Village Community Center, Lawton or Joy Park Recreation Centers 1 hour prior to program for FREE transportaion.

Learn how to set-up and tear down tents, properly pack a bag for an overnight trip, building and extinguishing a fire, and proper food choices/preparation/storage for an outdoor adventure. The main focus of this event will be outdoor safety and preparation for the following week’s camp-out.

Kids attending three GGG programs earn a CVNP Junior Ranger badge. Attend eight to be eligible for a weekend campout. Registration for events is encouraged. Call (330) 657-2752 ext 351 or visit www.cvnpa.org for more information.
