Hike at Dike 14

Hike to the dike, bike to the dike or drive to this spring's Migration Mania on Dike 14, Cleveland's unique lakefront nature preserve! Bring your family and join naturalists for a rare hike on this "secret side of Cleveland." You will see a variety of migrating birds and perhaps other elusive wildlife, along with one of the best views in Cleveland.

Hikes begin at 7:30 a.m. The last hike is at 11:00 a.m. Learn more about future plans and how the Dike 14 Environmental Education Collaborative is helping area students get a better understanding of nature and the environment. Hikes are scheduled each half hour.  Dress for the weather and wear sturdy shoes. Bring binoculars, if desired. Dike 14 is adjacent to Gordon Lakefront State Park, north of I-90 at the Martin Luther King Blvd. exit. Children must be accompanied by an adult. No dogs are permitted on the dike.
