Ohio EPA hearing on Cleveland port dredging projects

Cleveland, OH Army Corps applications for two projects affecting water quality will be the subject of this OEPA public hearing on Thursday, January 7th, namely: 1) the proposed CDF project at East 55th Street, see http://www.epa.state.oh.us/dsw/401/Cleveland_cdf_nov09.aspx and 2) the 2010 maintenance dredging project, see http://www.epa.state.oh.us/dsw/401/Cleveland_dredging_nov09.aspx.
OEPA will begin this January 7th hearing with an information & question/answer session at 5:30 pm, to be followed by the formal hearing with oral and written comments submitted by interested citizens.
Also, written comments to OEPA can be mailed, faxed or e-mailed by the end of business on Thursday, January 14, 2010. Send by US mail to Ohio EPA, Division of Surface Water, Permits Processing Unit, P.O. Box 1049, Columbus, OH 43216-1049 or by fax to (614) 644-2745 or by e-mail to joseph.loucek@epa.state.oh.us.
