PolyCultures: Food Where We Live

Date/Time:
May 25, 2010 - 11:30am - 1:30pm
APA Cleveland presents PolyCultures: Food Where We Live, a film that looks at the many interdependent elements that make up a more diverse, just, healthy, and sustainable food system.

There is growing interest in the local food movement, with individuals and communities seeking greater access to locally grown food produced in a more humane and earth-friendly manner. Learn from this locally produced film and from practitioners in the local-food movement why this is happening and what individuals and communities across Northeast Ohio are doing to encourage it.

Watch the movie and discuss how it relates to your own life and community. Filmmaker Tom Kondilas and Morgan Taggert from the OSU Extension will lead the discussion.

This event is FREE, but lunch is on your own. There are many take-out options from the vendors in the Galleria. RSVP to Manjula Boyina at manjula@dbhartt.com , 216-696-0400x225.
