Rain Garden Planting at the Cuyahoga County Fairgrounds - Volunteers Needed!

Date/Time:
August 4, 2009 - 1:00pm - 3:00pm

Location

Cuyahoga County Fairgrounds
164 Eastland Rd.
Berea, OH

Volunteers are needed this Tuesday, August 4th at 1:00 PM to plant a rain garden at the Cuyahoga County Fairgrounds.

We will meet by the Junior Fair Building (right inside Gate 5 - the Bagley Rd. entrance). Volunteers should bring work gloves and a shovel.

This is a great opportunity to educate the public about the impacts we all have on the watershed through storm water runoff, and on the benefits of rain gardens in reducing those impacts!

Partners in this effort include the Rocky River Watershed Council, Cuyahoga SWCD, the Cuyahoga County Fair Board and Kurtz Bros.

Please let me know if you plan to attend.

See you along the Rocky,
Jared
