It is difficult to design a space that will not attract people. What is remarkable is how often this has been accomplished.
RTA will rebuild its University-Cedar Rapid station in 2009, and is seeking input from local residents and students on the design. Following this meeting in spring '08, RTA's design team (URS and Brown Flynn) will have another meeting regarding the design of the station and surrounding area.
This site is inspired by the memory of Richard Shatten, a former board member of EcoCity Cleveland,
who pushed Northeast Ohio to think strategically about regionalism and sustainability.
