We see Cleveland as a city that is evolving from its position as a powerhouse of the industrial era that is now transitioning to a greater focus on alternative forms of energy, sustainable development, and manufacturing, and is positioning itself to move thoughtfully into the next era.
Zach Rinkes of Ohio State University Extension will lead a walk through the swamp and upland forest habitats of Old Woman Creek Reserve-come learn to identify native trees by leaf characteristics. Ages 12+, participants under 18 must be accompanied by parent or guardian. Terrain: gravel/paved trails, boardwalk, hills. No registration required. Visit www.oldwomancreek.org for more information.
