Friends of Big Creek is pleased to announce a mini-symposium on urban wetlands on Wednesday, Sept. 24. Our keynote address by John Katko from Friends of Wetlands will introduce the functioning of wetlands. Following will be presentations about conservation and restoration tools for valuing, prioritizing and protecting wetlands. We will also take a look at five model urban wetland projects in the Cleveland area.
