There are a number of races that benefit medical research, local schools and recreation centers click here to get more information on those events.  

June 9 - West Side Catholic Center 5K & 1 mile
The West Side Catholic Center provides shelter, clothing, household goods and emergency services for those in need.June 10 - Morgana Run 5K
This run benefits the Slavic Village Development a non-profit community development corporation serving the North and South Broadway neighborhoods.

June 10 - Sun Beam 4 mile & 1 mile
The proceeds benefit Vocational Guidance Services which provides a variety of employment services to individuals with physical or mental disabilities, economic disadvantages, and/or histories of incarceration.

June 16 – Ohio City Run & Crawl 5K
All proceeds of the race benefit the Ohio City Near West Development Corp.

June 24 - A Most Excellent Race 5K & 10K (wheelchair 10K)
This event benefits the Achievement Center for Children which offers rehabilitation therapies, education, recreation and family support services to children with special needs and their families.

July 21 – A Shot in the Dark 4 mile & 2 mile (2-person relay)
The Historic Gateway District of Greater Cleveland receives the proceeds from this race sponsored by the Winking Lizard.

August 12 – run, jane, run 5K & 10K
Benefits the Women’s Center of Greater Cleveland which offers comprehensive programs to address the complex issues of women and addiction.

September 23 - Cruise for the Critters 5K & 1 mile
This run benefits the Noah Project at the Gateway Animal Clinic for veterinary care for pet owners in need with limited resources.

October 7 – Towpath Marathon, Half Marathon & 5K
The Ohio Canal Corridor which stimulates public interest and support for the protection, preservation, development and enhancement of the Ohio & Erie Canal receives the benefits of this race.

November 3 – West Haven Run for Shelter 5K & 1 mile

Proceeds benefit the West Haven Youth Shelter, an emergency shelter in Greater Cleveland for both boys and girls ages 11 to 17.

November 4 - Run for Wildlife
The Lake Erie Nature & Science Center will benefit from this race in order to help fund its programs to educate and inspire appreciation of and responsibility for nature.

November 22 – Turkey Trot 5 mile
Proceeds will benefit the Hunger Network of Greater Cleveland: the largest distribution network for emergency food in Cuyahoga County.
