As energy costs go up, the ability to move further and further off is going to be impeded. I think there will be a slow change, an evolution over the next 15 to 20 years. It will be a movement not just back to the city, but to higher density, and to less of a tendency to move far out on the fringe.

Health is about taking care of things, preventing problems, thinking about the future. How do we expand the definition of health to encompass our relationships with family, friends, co-workers and our community?

We know that Northeast Ohio has world-class medical care to heal the sick, but what is our regional agenda for promoting health and preventing illness? How are we designing communities that foster healthy, active lifestyles? How are we passing on a clean, healthy environment to our children?
