Planning and development projects shaping the region
Here is the information you need to understand and participate in the major planning processes going on in Northeast Ohio. The projects listed below are shaping the region — and for each we will be assembling descriptions, documents, schedules for decisions, and other information on how citizens can get involved.
We need lots of help to track these projects. You can submit information by commenting on existing pages or by emailing the editors. You can even become a moderator and assume greater responsibility for keeping coverage up to date.
Want to see many of the projects in Cleveland? Watch the Greater Cleveland Partnership's video that uses Google Earth images and computer animation to depict the infrastructure improvements and real estate development projects that are changing the face of the city.
This site is inspired by the memory of Richard Shatten, a former board member of EcoCity Cleveland,
who pushed Northeast Ohio to think strategically about regionalism and sustainability.
