The CCLRC is more commonly referred to as the "Land Bank."  Local Northeast Ohio leaders worked for several years to create and pass legislation that allows counties to set up corporations that can utilize delinquent tax-related funds to purchase foreclosede homes and vacant land.  The land can be held, used temporarily for uses such as urban agriculture, then reutilized for housing or commercial projects when need allows.  The Land Bank also manages the Cleveland-Cuyahoga County NSP2 foreclosed home redevelopment program.
