The way our cities and towns are developed and the way our land is used contribute to the epidemic rates of chronic disease and impact the quality of life of our residents. The purpose of the 2009 Health and Land Use Summit was to explore partnership opportunities to promote the integration of health into land use planning and development county-wide.
