In 2007, the Cleveland Chapter of the American Jewish Committee formed an Energy Task Force to focus locally on advocacy, education, and grass roots efforts on energy security and the environment.
Representatives from 14 local Jewish organizations and from local environmental groups including GreenCityBlueLake Institute are meeting regularly as part of the task force.
