He might not be moneyed like Ed Begley Jr. or as hardcore as that family in England going without toilet paper for a year, but Cleveland has its own chronicler of green living. Ohio City resident Chuck Ackerman decided he wants to live as "green" as he can and write about his adventures here at GreenCityBlueLake. Why?

"I am hoping to learn, inspire (myself and others) and challenge myself. Mostly to see how hard it all is. I am not interested in being a purist. I'm interested in how one negotiates day to day activities while trying to limit your impact (negative) on the planet."

Good luck, Chuck. We'll continue to check in and offer our two cents.
