  • Midtown Brews is focusing its "open" economic development sessions for 2008 on technology, the creative industries, and energy. Post ideas for topics and speakers, and get involved here.
  • Twenty marketing education students at Beachwood, Mayfield and Richmond Heights high schools are planning a "Green Dream" showcase of green building and cultural ideas. Proceeds will help build the "Ultimate green classroom" at Beachwood.
  • Kamm's Corners in Cleveland's west side, is improving the look of its main commercial district along Lorain Avenue by burying its overhead lines and installing pedestrian lighting.
  • Green Clean founder and president Rebecca Reynolds is opening a store called Planet Green that will sell organic, sustainable, and socially conscious items for your home, family, and pets such as locally produced furniture, organic cotton clothes, natural cleaning supplies and more. Located at 19054 Old Detroit Road in Rocky River, the store opens this Saturday, Jan. 26.
