In the lead up to Cleveland's big sustainability summit from August 12-14, the city produced a video with a cross-section of leaders explaining where they see the sweet spot of sustainability and the city's agenda to restore prosperity.
Here's a sample of sound-bites"We have land, we have water, we have people. And those are the three greatest resources it takes to make a wonderful place to live." -Mark McClain, Neighborhood Leadership Institute
"What Cleveland has as an advantage (are) the practices and technologies that we've developed to remediate what was a very polluted waterway. They can be exported across the world as the world wakes up to their own environmental issues." -Baiju R. Shah, President & CEO, Bioenterprise
Four hundred and fifty people are pre-registered for the summit, the goal of which is to build a plan that will support business growth, protect the environment and create opportunities for individuals to prosper.
