RiverDay 2009

Commemorating the monumental progress made in restoring the water quality in the Cuyahoga River since the infamous burning of the Cuyahoga on June 22nd, 1969.

RiverDay 2009 is dedicated to the memory of Ed Hauser : RiverDay coordinator for 5 years, community activist and the "Mayor" of Whiskey Island. Events include dedicating the beach at Whiskey Island to Ed, bike rides, tours of Cleveland's hidden green space gems and future Towpath Connector trails.
