Organic vegetables farm tour

Arbor Hill Heirloom Organics is a micro-scale organic produce business owned and operated by Scott Savage. Specializing in gourmet potato and onion production, Scott has done extensive research on season extension techniques using hoop houses and mobile greenhouse structures. In cooperation with the USDA's Sustainable Agriculture Research and Education (SARE) program, Scott researched gourmet potato production in high tunnels. He will share the results of his investigation and discuss his efforts to raise potatoes for sale in winter and early spring using hay mulch and high tunnels.

Contact Mike Anderson at 614-421-2022 or visit oeffa.org for more information.
