Adaptive Reuse of Sacred Buildings

Join the Levin College Forum at CSU  for a discussion focused on the adaptive reuse of religious and other sacred buildings. Cleveland and other countless cities around the country and around the world are dealing with treasured buildings of all denominations that are left behind as communities move or outgrow the current setting.

Panelists (Kathleen Crowther of the Cleveland Restoration Society, Dr. Robert Simons of the Levin College of Urban Affairs, Brian Cummins of Cleveland City Council Ward 14 and John Maimone of the Cleveland Catholic Diocese)  will present strategies and options that can take us from good intentions to good decisions. This forum will be of interest to developers, real estate professionals, community organizations, elected officials, preservation advocates, planners, architects and others who are concerned about reusing religious buildings.

Free and open to the public, but registration required.http://www.urban.csuohio.edu/forum/events/register/04_20_10_register.html
