Permaculture for kids

Hey kids! Come and learn about permaculture, or to put it simply, "gardening that puts everything in the right place." Permaculture first looks at all the things that are in a garden- birds, bugs, critters, plants, water, light and climate. Then it uses this information to create a unique plan. This help makes your gardening chores less and your plants grow better. Permaculture is a great way to garden!

Mr. Ben Shapiro has studied permaculture at Oberlin College and is a designer of ecological gardens and urban food systems. He is currently site manager for Community Greenhouse Partners. He is eager to share his knowledge with you!

Please bring an adult helper along!
