Crown Point Ecology Center's annual organic plant sale

This year?s sale will include over 200 varieties of heirloom and must-have vegetables, herbs and flowers, providing gardeners with a wide selection of vegetables and native plants. Tomatoes and peppers remain an emphasis, but a fine selection of eggplant, summer squash, melons, greens, flowers and more can be expected. A full list is available on the website at www.crownpt.org. Most of Slow Food USA 's Ark of Taste vegetables will again be available. Chosen for their culinary and cultural value, these plants help to protect our inherited agricultural diversity.

Also open May 20 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
