Lake Erie Allegheny Partnership meeting

The November 14 LEAP meeting will feature a presentation by naturalist Marlo Perdicas from Metro Parks, Serving Summit County. Marlo will speak about "iNaturalist: An Innovative Tool for Data Sharing, Citizen Science & Learning."

iNaturalist is a smartphone and web-based data gathering program designed to provide an ecological learning and teaching platform for amateurs and professionals alike. This session is designed to introduce iNaturalist as a means to vastly expand survey capabilities while fostering a stronger sense of community among users and park staff. Learn how this citizen science application has been in use in Summit county and plans for its expansion.
