Volunteers needed to help clean and restore Euclid Beach after Hurricane Sandy
Euclid Beach and Villa Angela Beach took a real beating from Hurricane Sandy. Sustained northerly winds in combination with heavy rains and rising water levels caused waves in excess of 20 feet to pound our shores. The relentless waves also brought with them trash, trees, tires and severe erosion to many beaches across Ohio, including Euclid Beach and Villa Angela Beach.
Join volunteers across Ohio heading to the shores of Lake Erie Adopt-a-Beach in partnership with the Ohio Department of Natural Resources for this final and very important beach cleanup of the season.
Get a free burrito gift card from Chilli Peppers restaurant (869 East 185th St.). Volunteers will meet in the park pavilion at 11amJust
