Community Innovation and Nurture an Idea award forum
Enterprise Community Partners Leadership in Community Innovation Award and the Nurture an Idea Award will be selected at this open-to-the-public ceremony.
The Leadership prize of $25,000 will be awarded to one of three finalists, including:
- The Neighbors Invest in Broadway program, submitted by Slavic Village Development. A program to help individuals restore and occupy vacant homes.
- Urban Grazing a program that would continue to bring sheep and goats to graze vacant lots in three Cleveland neighborhoods.
- Small Business Fundamentals, submitted by the Hispanic Business Center to improve very specific skill sets for budding entrepreneurs.
The Nuture an Idea competition will award $10,000 to one of eight ideas including bike composting and shipping crate retail.
