Ohio transit needs public meeting

As an integral component of a Statewide Transit Needs Study, ODOT is conducting several regional meetings during the month of October to hear from key stakeholders about the importance of public transportation to the future of our cities and our state.

The meeting in the Northeast Ohio region will be held at the RTA offices on October 21st between 2 p.m. and 4 p.m.

The goal of this year-long study is to determine the current and future needs of public transit, how the State of Ohio can assist (ideally with more financial resources), and then to suggest that these additional resources be part of the upcoming Ohio Biennium State budget recommendations.
