Learn About Upcoming Training Programs in Urban Agriculture!
This fall and winter make plans to start or improve your urban agriculture project. Ohio State University Extension, Cuyahoga County is hosting two different training programs that will begin in January 2015. Applications are now open! Training Program Description: The Dig In! Community Gardener Training Program helps community members gain the knowledge and skills necessary to plan, design, and build a thriving sustainable community garden. The Market Gardener Training Program is for new and beginning small-scale farmers interested in learning how to start an enterprise growing food for market in urban neighborhoods. There will be an information session for you to learn more about these two programs: Tuesday, December 2nd 6:00pm OSUE Office 5320 Stanard Ave. Cleveland, 44013 Applications are due by 4:30 pm on December 18, 2014.
