Doan Brook stream sweep

Take a hike through the Shaker Parklands or Rockefeller Park to celebrate Earth Week and help clean up Doan Brook at the same time. Volunteers will clear a winter's worth of trash from the stream corridor in the lower watershed to its headwaters in the Heights.

Saturday, April 25: Meet at the Nature Center at Shaker Lakes or at the corner of Fairhill Road and East 127th Street in the Larchmere neighborhood.

Sunday, April 26: Meet at the Rockefeller Park gazebo near the intersection of MLK and East 105th Street in Cleveland.

The cleanup runs from 1 pm to 4 pm both days.

All ages and groups welcome; children under 15 must be accompanied by an adult. Protective boots and gloves are recommended.
